AM13 Ethics & Professional Standards (Run 1)

Trust is what keeps a speaker in business. This full day workshop covers the standards every APSS member is expected to keep, using real situations speakers face.

What you will learn

• Understand the APSS Code of Ethics and why it matters
• Make honest claims about your results, testimonials and credentials
• Keep client information private
• Give credit for ideas and avoid plagiarism
• Know when and how to tell people you used AI
• Treat fellow speakers fairly and handle conflicts of interest
• Know what to do if a standard is broken

How you are assessed

Ethics Knowledge Check and Scenario Response. You answer 15 questions (pass mark 80%) and write 200 words on one real life situation, naming the issue, the principle and what you would do.

What your fee covers

About the APSS core modules

APSS has four core modules, one for each pillar: Eloquence, Expertise, Enterprise and Ethics. Pass the course and the assessment for all four and you are certified.
